“Gearbox Mount for Ford Sierra 2WD Cosworth FOR172MX (Competition).

This mounting is a direct replacement for the OE Ford part. It Bolts to the crossmember and the ‘wedge’ adaptor plate on the T5 gearbox fits directly into it. This mount will control movement of the gearbox to within a few mm. Some increase in noise transmission to the cabin will be experienced. This mount can also be used with type 9 gearboxes in kit cars or rally car applications – call for more information. There are altermative rubber inserts available to reduce vibration transmission.”
